Mr. Serruto has engaged in the general practice of law for over 25 years when he started the Serruto Law Firm. He built many relationships with his clients, colleagues, and other professionals in different fields and different offices of the government throughout the state of New Jersey.
 

His creative optimistic approach to his cases has afforded success for his clients. He is often called upon by other attorneys to negotiate or try complex cases with difficult adversaries. Mr. Serruto has tried to verdict various types of cases ranging from civil business disputes, personal injury, criminal matters and custody cases. Because of the general nature of The Serruto Law Firm, it has exposed him to expanded areas of law which provides the firm with the capability to tie seemingly irrelevant areas of law to a current case he is handling. 

 

Because of his extensive experience in both civil and criminal law, one of the special areas of law Mr. Serruto handles is representing crime victims. He works with families during an emotional time to help them navigate through the criminal prosecution process. He then litigates for civil damages to help victims and their families compensate for their suffering.

 

Mr. Serruto represented the largest residential developer in the city of Newark in the 2000s, successfully negotiated many issues with lenders, government entities and individuals because of his excellent negotiation skills. He has extensive experience in commercial and residential development.

Mr. Serruto has established numerous personal and professional relationships which have been reinforced over time. This is because of his honest and straight forward approach in whatever case he is handling. He is trusted not only by his clients, but also by other attorneys and judges throughout the state.
